Apply to join a Changemaker camp in Norway!

Changemaker is looking for two volunteers to join Changemaker Norway’s SommerSNU camp. Apply to join by Sunday 5th!

SommerSNU is organized June 30th to July 3rd on Utøya island outside of Oslo. SommerSNU is one of the main events of Changemaker Norway, gathering a large group of youth interested in global issues. The camp includes trainings, guest speakers, creative workshops, new ideas and new friends! Guests from other Changemaker-networks will join the camp. Changemaker will cover volunteers’ travel, accommodation and food costs.

Changemaker Finland’s delegates are expected to participate actively in the camp trainings and workshops and to collect ideas that Changemaker Finland could bring to its activities. After the trip, the delegates will report on lessons learned to the Changemaker team. Delegates will also update Changemaker’s social media during the camp and write an article about on Changemaker’s website.

Delegates must speak English fluently. Delegates will attend an introduction and a feedback discussion regarding the trip.

If you are interested, send an informal application to toimisto@changemaker.fi by Sunday June 5th. In your application, tell us who you are, how you have been involved in Changemaker, and why you would be a good choice as a delegate. Excitement and enthusiasm about advocating for global justice is more important than having long experience with volunteering. Delegates will be chosen by Changemaker’s team.

Underaged delegates will need consent from their guardian to participate. Changemaker employees will not participate on the camp.
