East African Youth Peace Seminar
SIGN UP FOR THE SEMINAR HERE (link opens in a new window).
Young people are a demographic group whose future is affected by the decisions made today. Do young people in East Africa have a voice in decision making? How can we make sure that young people have legitimate channels to use their voices?
The East African Youth Peace Seminar is an event for young people to voice their concern and discuss the state of affairs in a safe space. The seminar aims to bring young East African voices to the front to discuss themes of Peace and Security and youth participation in the region. The discussion will lead into creation of recommendations to increase youth participation and leadership in East Africa.
