Changemaker-weekend
Changemaker-weekend for youth interested in global issues, will be held in Anjala youth center April 12th to 14th!
At Changemaker-weekend you will get excited to campaign for a better world in excellent company and learn easy ways to advocate for a better world.
The camp, themed how change is made, will include trainings and workshops on different ways to create change in society and the world around us. During the weekend, we will get to know different ways of advocacy, EU-level advocacy work and plan activities for Changemaker’s advocacy work on refugee rights. The camp will include workshops in Finnish and English.
Changemaker-weekend is meant for youth and young adults aged 13-35, who are interested in advocacy work and global issues. The weekend camp is an excellent way to learn more about Changemaker and to meet youth from all over Finland (and Europe!). We welcome newcomers as well as seasoned volunteers.
The camp is free for all Changemaker members and travel costs are reimbursed to members. For others, the camp costs 20e, which covers food and accommodation. Joining the network is free and ease to do while signing up for the event.
A bus ride taking participants from Kouvola railway station to the youth center will be organized.
